Welcome to Abbeyvale

Located between Hartlepool and Peterlee, Abbeyvale Care Centre is a purpose-built, modern and bright home, offering a positive environment to support a diverse range of services, including residential and dementia. Abbeyvale benefits from being situated in the heart of a close and familiar community and has easy access to the main high street of small ex-mining village Blackhall Colliery and the shops and amenities this offers. Welfare Park is nearby and residents take regular excursions to the outdoor space, which hosts bowls, football and cricket matches.  Our service works hard in partnership to ensure a care pathway is formed to help people move to a more independent lifestyle. We offer: Residential Care for people with Mental Health needs.

At Papillon we work hard to enable people who live with us to enjoy themselves and to identify and fulfil their own expectations.  Our care staff based at all of our homes are training to go the extra mile to assist everybody working with you to meet your expectations. Whether this be vocational, educational, social or health and fitness orientation. We encourage all people living with us to embrace their individual interests and develop new interests to widen their horizons and help them make fresh choices in life while they live with us.
